Ruth completed her training at the University of Otago Medical School in 2002. She has lived and worked in Tauranga since then, spending 10 years as GP before having time off with her young family.
She is a strong advocate of a holistic model of wellbeing – considering diet, exercise, mental and spiritual health in the context of wellness; aiming to not only treat disease, but to keep the population healthy in the first instance. Spare time is enjoyed with family, in the garden, and in nature – running and doing yoga. MBChB FRNZCGP
